• 7:00 p.m.- Board of Education Meeting at Historic Currituck Courthouse

The Currituck County Board of Education meets the second Monday of every month - 7:00 p.m.  at the Historic Currituck Courthouse, unless otherwise posted. The Board conducts paperless meetings by using services provided by eBoard Solutions. Agendas are released 5 days prior to the meeting date. Monthly agendas and supplemental materials can be easily accessed by following this link  http://eboard.eboardsolutions.com/nc/currituck.

The meeting agenda is set by the Superintendent and Board Chairman. Items for the agenda should be submitted in writing to the Superintendent's office 7 working days before the scheduled meeting. Inclusion of items is at the discretion of the Superintendent and Board Chairman.

Each meeting has a public comment session in which citizens may speak to the Board about education related topics. As a matter of order, members of the Board will not respond to persons addressing the Board, but may ask the Superintendent to act or gather additional information on the topic.  Citizens are allowed 3 minutes to speak.  Personnel or individual student matters are not appropriate for this public forum. Concerns of this nature should be submitted to the Board of Education in writing.
