As the only traditional, comprehensive high school in the county, our school serves approximately 1,100 students in grades 9-12. We provide to each student an extensive selection of courses and academic programs to choose from, including college preparatory, career and technical education courses, as well as honors and AP courses. Our instructional day operates on a 4x4 block schedule with 85 minutes per class period. In addition to traditional instruction on the 4x4block, a Power Hour offers students a 30 minute lunch period and 30 minutes for other instructional opportunities: tutoring, clubs, special topics, and/or engaging in physical activities or socialization.
We are excited to welcome the freshmen class to CCHS at Freshmen Orientation tomorrow, August 25th from 9am-12:30pm. During freshmen Orientation students will get to meet staff, get copies of their schedules, and tour the campus.
Buses will be picking students up at community stops for this event. Below you can access the bus pick up schedule. Parents may also drop off an dpick up their child at the front of the school.
We look forward to seeing all of our new faces tomorrow!
